SolarWorld has released its new Sunmodule SW 305 – 315 XL mono range – a 72 cell module range that is designed for large photovoltaic systems and utility scale power plants. The 72 cell concept of the module grants the benefit of installing less modules in a project and thus saving installation time and reduces the balance of system cost per watt installed capacity. In addition to sustainable product quality, the structured glass with antireflective coating warrants high energy yields.

With the SolarWorld products present in southern Africa for more than 20 years and an office in South Africa since 2006, SolarWorld has supplied large infrastructure off-grid projects in various countries as well as the largest rooftop installations in South Africa. Examples include Rooibos Ltd., Dube TradePort’s agrizone at Durban international airport, Ceres Fruit Growers Ltd. and Vodacom.
