Senegal’s power utility, Senelec, solicits closed bids from eligible bidders to perform the following works:

Lot 1: Automation of distribution by remote control of cutting equipment

Lot 2: Reinforcement of the West Lantern network

Eligible and interested bidders can obtain information for the acquisition of tender documents from the Secretariat of Samba Dieng, Director of Distribution Projects, email: samba.dieng@senelec.sn copy stephane.niouky@senelec.sn and take note tender documents for the Distribution Projects Management (Network Equipment Department) can obtained in Senelec Hann, Mari Stes Dakar road, telephone (221 33 839 94 62), during working days from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Qualification criteria:

Financial

The bidder must prove that they have an average annual turnover of at least:

Lot 1: $3,517

Lot 2: $4,396,835

Technical

The bidder must meet the following technical capability requirements with supporting documentation:

(i) Demonstrate a general experience of construction contracts as prime contractor, grouping member of the last five (05) years from January 1 of 2013;

(ii) Justify of specific experience as a prime contractor, member of a group, assembler or subcontractor of similar work (see Table Section III, Qualification);

(iii) Contracts submitted under this criterion must be similar and executed within the last ten (10) years from January 1, 2008 until the satisfactory submission deadline, completed for the essential, and each accompanied by a certificate of good execution.
