Washington DC, United States — ESI-AFRICA.COM — 15 April 2011 – The Global Marine renewable energy conference (GMREC) “’ now in its fourth year, and being held in the American capital on April 28 and 29 “’ is bringing together leaders in government, industry, research, academia, and non-profit organisations from more than a dozen countries.
These many delegates are gathering to share information and resources to support the responsible commercialisation of marine and hydro-kinetic renewable energy systems in the United States and abroad. The conference will be providing timely, relevant, useful information on how ocean energy systems can provide clean, renewable energy.
This year attendees will be briefed on marine and hydrokinetic progress in no less than eighteen countries. Top government and private sector representatives will discuss technology, policy, financing, public outreach, standards and protocols for measuring resources, technology efficiency and environmental conditions.
