Focusing on interlinked infrastructure verticals, iPAD West Africa 2009 will unite government, development agencies, finance institutions, utilities, mining houses, transport, construction and telecommunications concerns at a single meeting in order to accelerate and stimulate investment in the development of regional infrastructure, as well as the building of a valuable database of contacts. Models of success and best practice will be showcased to illustrate progress in the implementation of infrastructure projects.

iPAD West Africa provides an opportunity to network directly with key partners. The event aims to facilitate regional planning and collaborations under one roof between the public sector and business.

iPAD West Africa is a onestop- shop for investigating investment opportunities in the host country and West Africa as a whole.

WAPIC (as part of iPAD West Africa) encourages regional cooperation through a unique forum highlighting topics on generation, transmission and distribution as well as the development and reform of the West African power sector. This regional event provides the ideal platform for the West African region to work towards sustainable development and in turn attract future investment and business opportunities in the power sector.
