The Infrastructure Consortium for Africa (ICA) would very much value your contribution to a survey it is conducting to analyse the risks, delays and bottlenecks that feature in African infrastructure projects.
The aim is to produce a comprehensive and analytic knowledge product that will prove a useful and practical tool for all stakeholders in Africa’s infrastructure development.
The results of the research will be shared with you and all other stakeholder participants and published in the African Development Bank-based ICA’s upcoming Infrastructure Financing Trends in Africa report.
Published annually since 2005, the ICA has previously focused its reports on data and perspectives provided by public sector participants (G-8 countries, World Bank, African Development Bank, EC, EIB, DBSA). Download last year’s report
This year’s report aims to include, for the first time, perspectives from private sector stakeholders.
Working with the ICA, Cross-border Information (CbI) has therefore developed a short private sector survey that seeks to structure and analyse the:
- key risks to be mitigated when putting together a financial package
- main causes of delays implementing projects
- primary considerations when locating a project
- reasons for bottlenecks in project preparation.
The survey asks for observations and perceptions, not commercial information. Any information you provide will be used and displayed only in an aggregated form or used anonymously. Individual responses will remain strictly confidential.
The ICA is also gathering views from the public sector. If you have not been contacted and wish to participate please email Mark Ford at firstname.lastname@example.org
We would very much appreciate it if you could complete and return the by Friday 26th July 2013 to Mark Ford at email@example.com.
By way of thanking you for taking part, we will enter all respondents who complete the survey into a prize draw and the winner will receive a Fortnum & Mason Hamper of your choice (up to the value of £100)*
*Please note, the Fortnum & Mason Hamper can only be delivered to a UK address. A gift voucher will be offered by way of replacement to a winner based outside the UK.
Your time and input helping to create this indispensable resource are greatly appreciated.
