Hydro Power Africa conference: 3–4 March 2009

The ESI Africa Hydropower Africa conference is the only high-level niche forum focusing on hydropower generation project implementation in Africa. The event will bring together government and utility stakeholders, financiers and investors, engineers, dam design and construction specialists, consultants and environmental specialists, and the broader utility community.

Incisive presentations, panel discussions and specialised sessions will provide practical guidelines and open up real discussion, facilitating solutions and partnerships that will realise the full potential and benefits of implementing small and large hydropower projects in Africa.

The conference will provide practical solutions to getting hydropower projects off the ground. Expect real debate, real decisions in real time!

The ESI Africa Hydropower Africa 2009 conference will be held in Johannesburg. It follows the resounding success of Hydropower Africa 2008 conference which attracted over 100 industry experts.
