The impact of climate change on hydropower generation is enormous.  Kwaku Wiafe from Volta River Authority in Ghana will talk about their strategy to cope with climate change.  It encompasses developing seasonal rainfall and inflow forecasting models, developing an emergency action plan to enhance flood response downstream of the reservoir as well as contributing to the strengthening of institutional arrangements for water resource management within the country and among riparian states.
