In another charitable effort, engineers from GIBB, celebrated Mandela Day by moving and recreating a playground for the children of the Refilwe community in Diepsloot, Johannesburg.

“This community is close to our hearts. We believe moving the playground to a more secure and safer foundation will allow for a better playing environment,” said Yolande van Rooyen, GIBB Marketing Practitioner: Events Management, CRM and CSI.

“Our engineers really worked as a team and we trust that our support to this community will bring joy to the children of Refilwe,” said GIBB Engineer, James Pollock who lives on site and has made a commitment to take care of three children from the community.
