Africa Utility Week 2008 is scheduled take place in Cape Town, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre between the 20th and 23rd May 2008.

African Utility Week is Africa’s largest technology and strategy event for the power and utility sector. The event’s unique training, networking and discussion platforms will demonstrate how utilities can be more efficient and offer cost-effective services through improved infrastructure maintenance, load management, delivery and revenue management choices.

Focussing on the Why, What and How of the business of utilities in Africa, the conference has been streamlined into three distinct tracks: Metering, Billing/CRM Africa; Transmission & Distribution Africa; and Generation Africa.

The conference has always attracted the highest level of delegates and representatives and this year high level panellists and speakers will include representatives from the South African ministry of minerals and energy and other ministries from across the continent, as well top level speakers from regulatory bodies, utilities and departments of enterprises and public works.
