The Zanzibar Electricity Corporation has set aside funds for operating its activities in financial year 2017-2018.
The firm intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for procurement of low voltages distribution materials and meter installation materials.
The company now invites sealed tenders from eligible and qualified bidders for supplies.
Tendering will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No. 11 of 2016.
Low voltages distribution materials tender details
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of the Zanzibar Electricity Corporation, Head Office Gulioni, first floor, room No. 37, from 9:00am to 5:00pm local time Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays.
A complete set of bidding document(s) in English and additional set if any may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 150,000 ($67).
Payment should be made by cash or telegraphic transfer. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security in an acceptable form of Banker’s Cheque or Bankers guarantee in the amount of 2% of its total bid price.
All tenders in one original plus two copies (2) properly filled in, and enclosed in a sealedplain envelope clearly marked “Tender No. ZECO/G/LT/2017-2018/06: SUPPLY OF LOW TENSION MATERIALS must be physically submitted at Head Office Gulioni, first floor, room number 37, at or before 2:00pm, 27 December 2017.
