Uganda: Soroti University invites bidders to conduct repair and maintenance services

In Uganda, the Soroti University is hereby inviting prospective providers or firms to be pre-qualified for supplies, services and works for the period 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19.

The areas where the University needs pre-qualified providers under the various lots are indicated below:

  • Repair and maintenance of electrical equipment
  • Repair and maintenance of solar equipment
  • Repair and servicing of generator

Terms and conditions of tender

Pre-qualification submissions will be evaluated in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Act 2003 as amended of the government of Uganda.

Interested bidders may obtain further information from Soroti University Procurement and Disposal Unit, and inspect the pre-qualification documents at Soroti University campus on Soroti –Moroto Road starting from 8th December 2016, from 08:00am to 17:00pm on working days.

A complete set of pre-qualification documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address given below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX60,000 ($16.8), per item applied for to Soroti University collection account No.4512300006 Centenary Bank Soroti Branch.

Bidders will only be issued the Pre-qualification document upon presentation of receipt of payment.

Pre-qualification submissions must be delivered to the below address before 11:00am on 13th January 2017. The pre-qualification submissions sealed in envelopes must indicate the name and address of the bidder, and the subject of the item applied for.
