Senelec has obtained, as part of its 2018 investment budget, funds for the acquisition of mobile towable capacitors for the distribution network.
The power company intends to use part of these funds to make payments to the market title Acquisition of mobile towable capacitors for the distribution network.
Senelec solicits closed bids from eligible candidates who meet the qualifications required to provide mobile towable capacitors for the distribution network in a single lot.
The bidding will be conducted through open tender as defined in the Public Procurement Code, and open to all eligible candidates.
Interested candidates may obtain information from the Secretariat of the Procurement Department and take note of tender documents on working days and hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm at the following address: Senelec 28, rue Vincens Dakar 4th floor.
Qualification requirements are:
Provide the 2014, 2015 and 2016 financial statements duly certified by a firm or chartered accountant approved by ONECCA.
- The applicant must prove, with a certificate of satisfactory performance, that its supplier has had to perform a 30kV distribution capacitor supply contract for the last five years (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017);
- It must provide the authorisation of the manufacturer of the material or the Certificate of Authenticity;
- A type test certificate from an independent laboratory for capacitors.
Interested candidates may obtain a complete tender dossier from the same address stated above after the formulation of a written request, against a non-refundable payment of CFA 50,000 ($95) cash in our funds.
Candidates who wish to do so will be able to consult the tender dossier for this purpose at the same address free of charge.
The tender document may be sent by e-mail at the request of the candidate. Applicants who wish to do so can consult the tender dossier provided for this purpose free of charge on the spot.
