Mozambique: EDM seeks multiple power supplies

Mozambique’s national power utility, Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM), seeks to boost its competence in distributing electricity.

Therefore, EDM is inviting interested companies to present closed proposals for the supply of circuit breakers, medium and high voltage disconnectors, complementary accessories and motors, consisting of three lots;

  • Lot I – Medium and high voltage circuit breakers and disconnectors
  • Lot II – Complementary accessories for circuit breakers and disconnectors
  • Lot III – Engines for breaker mechanisms and disconnectors.

EDM tender information

The tender documents may be purchased by interested parties who express their interest at the address below, as of 8 February 2017, against payment of a non-refundable fee of MZN1,500 ($25) or equivalent in freely convertible currency.

Payment can be made in cash or by certified check, at the Company’s Treasury located at Av. Agostinho No. 70, R / C.

Additional information can be obtained directly from the address below, between 07:30am and 15:30pm, from Monday to Friday.

Tender submissions

Tenders must be delivered to the address above by 10:00pm on 9 March 2017.

Interested companies should indicate the subject of this tender on the front of the envelope, that being: Supply of Circuit Breakers, Medium and High Voltage Switching Devices, Complementary Accessories and Motors.
