Mauritius gov seeks provision of power transformers

The Central Electricity Board of Mauritius is inviting sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of step up power transformers.

Full details can be found in the bidding documents.

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders by calling at the Registry of the Central Electricity Board (CEB), from 9:00 hours to 15:30 hours, at the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee.

The method of payment will be cash or bank cheque.

The bid document can be downloaded free of charge from the CEB’s website http://ceb.intnet.mu and/or the government procurement website http://publicprocurement.govmu.org.


Bids, addressed to the Chairman Tender Committee, should either be deposited in the tender box located at the Registry of the Central Electricity Board, Royal Road, Curepipe, Mauritius or sent by registered post or courier service on/or before Wednesday, 14 June 2017 up to 13:30 hours (local time) at latest.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at the Central Electricity Board, Royal Road, Curepipe as from 13:45 hours (local time) on Wednesday 14 June 2017.

Kindly note that the CEB would like to inform bidders that it has shifted to an electronic procurement platform where bidders are required to bid online.
