The Malawi Telecommunications Ltd invites applications from eligible, well established and reputable suppliers with the ability to offer value added services to register their interest as suppliers and contractors of goods and services for the year 2017/18 period in the following Lots:

Malawi Telecommunications – tender information

Lot 9: Maintenance of generators electrical and electronic equipment

Lot 11: Supply of UPS, solar systems, inverters and their accessories

Lot 12: Supply of electrical items and accessories

Lot 14: Supply of network maintenance items and accessories

Mandatory requirements

  • Comprehensive company profile
  • Copy of valid certificate of incorporation/registration
  • Copy of valid Tax Clearance Certificate, VAT certificate and TPIN
  • Postal, physical and email address , and telephone and fax numbers
  • References and experience
  • Full banking details and financial capability
  • Names of Directors and Addresses
  • Registration with regulatory bodies if applicable in a Lot

Tender conditions and submission

Applicants must clearly state areas of specialisation on the envelopes/profiles and Malawi Telecommunications Limited restricts the limit to a maximum of three main Lots per company.

Register with a non-refundable fee of MK20,000 ($28). All applications must be labelled ‘Registration of Suppliers FY 2017/2018’ and deposited in the tender Box stationed at Malawi Telecommunications Limited, reception Head Office Lunjika House, next to Shoprite, opposite old French Cultural Centre.

Please note that all existing suppliers and contractors are required to re-apply.

Deadline for submission of prequalification is Thursday 9 March 2017.
