Madagascar to improve energy access via concrete electric panels

The government of the Republic of Madagascar has received a loan from the OPEC Fund for International Development to finance the project that seeks to improve energy access in integrated growth clusters.

Part of the funds will be used to make payments under the contract concrete electric panels, electric line drawing and installation accessories, headed by the Integrated Growth and Corridor Pole Project (PIC2).

The National Coordination of the PIC2 project intends to prequalify bidders which will then be invited to bid for the works.

Prequalification shall be conducted in accordance with the prequalification procedures specified in the “Procurement Guidelines under Loans Extended by the Fund for International Development (OFID) -Vienna, Austria November 2, 1982, http://www.ofid.org/PUBLICATIONS/Rules-and-Procedures “; and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Guidelines. 3.

Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the prequalification at the address listed below during office hours, from 9:00am to 17:00pm.

Bidders may purchase a complete set of the pre-qualification document in French upon a written request to the address below with a non-refundable deposit of Ar.200,000 ($67).

Payment will be made in cash to the address mentioned below or by bank transfer to the account on request, provided that the transfer costs are borne by the bidder.


Applications for prequalification must be submitted in a sealed envelope before 10 August 2017 at the address below, and must be clearly marked Pre-qualification application for TRAVAUX ELECTRICAL PANEL IMPLEMENTATION and PIC-01/17 / APP / PIC2_OFID LINE DRAWING.
