Madagascar invites international bidders for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a turbine generator and production equipment for the Ambatosia/Bealanana hydroelectric project.

Madagascar tender details

The contract involves the design, manufacture, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the 500kW turbine generator and production equipment for the Ambatosia hydroelectric project, in accordance with the terms of the contract.

The supplier is expected to provide the awarding authority with the most efficient production equipment (turbine generator unit, related equipment and ancillary services) with the best value for money.

More specifically, the contract involves supplying, delivering, installing and commissioning:
1. the automatic safety valve;
2. the pipe for connection to the turbine;
3. the turbine;
4 the generator;
5. the control panel;
6. options: flywheel, suction pipe, etc.

Participation in the contract is open on equal terms to natural persons and legal entities participating either individually or as part of a grouping (consortium) of bidders which are established in Madagascar or of the Member States of the European Union, ACP States or in a country or territory authorised by the ACP-EC Partnership Agreement under which the programme is financed.
