Liberia issues invitation for construction of small hydropower plant

In West Africa, Liberia’s Rural and Renewable Energy Agency (RREA) has issued an invitation for the prequalification of contractors for the construction of a small hydropower plant on the Kaiha River.

The selected contractor will be required to develop a run-of-river hydro power plant with a 2MW capacity in the Lofa County of Liberia

Interested bidders are required to pay a non-refundable fee of $100 upon collection of documents.

Bidders are to directly deposit the fee into the Rural and Renewable Energy Agency’s Account No: 53030030000064, (Swift Code No.: SCBLUS33) held with United Bank of Africa.

Applicants are required to submit the payment receipt as proof when collecting the prequalification documents.
