The Kenya Electricity Generating Company LTD (KenGen) seeks to procure a generator step-up transformer for the Masinga Power Station.
The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, factory training and testing, delivery, supervision of assembly, installation of a 20/25 MVA, 11/143.7 KV, Onan/Onaf generator step-up transformer for Masinga Power Station.
Please note that there will be a mandatory site visit on 3 September 2017 at 9:00 am. For those who will have missed the first date, an alternative mandatory site visit shall be held on 13 September 2017 at 9:00am

Interested bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Supply Chain Director during normal working days, Monday to Friday.
The tender documents may be collected upon payment of a non-refundable fee of KShs 1,000 ($10) paid in cash or through a banker’s cheque at any KenGen finance office.
Tender documents can also be viewed and downloaded from the website www.kengen.co.ke and www.suppliers.treasury.go.ke.
Bidders who download the tender document from the website must forward their particulars immediately to email@example.com to facilitate any further tender clarifications and addenda.
Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security in the form and amount specified and must be delivered in plain sealed envelope clearly labelled with the tender number and tender description before the closing date to the following address:
