KenGen seeks back-up generator for Kamburu Hydropower Station

Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) invites eligible bidders for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 500KVA emergency diesel generator for Kamburu Hydropower Station.

Interested bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Supply Chain Director, during normal working days.

Tender documents for Kamburu Hydropower Station generator

The tender documents may be collected upon payment of a non-refundable fee of KShs1,000 ($10) paid in cash or through a banker’s cheque at any KenGen finance office.

The document can also be viewed and downloaded free of charge from the website www.kengen.co.ke and www.suppliers.treasury.go.ke.

Bidders who download the tender document from the website must forward their particulars immediately to tenders@kengen.co.ke to facilitate any further tender clarifications and addenda.

Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security in the form and amount specified and must be delivered in a plain sealed envelope clearly labelled with the tender number and tender description before the closing date to the following address:

Please note that there shall be a mandatory site visit on 6 September 2017 at 10:00am at Kamburu Power station.
