Ivory Coast tender

The European Union (EU), is calling both local and foreign individuals and consortium bidders, to provide support to Ivory Coast to define and implement strategies that favour optimal use of its energy resources, efficiency of energy use, management of demand and electric load curves, renewable energy resource development, natural resource preservation, and enable the energy efficiency and renewable energy development objectives laid down by the government to be achieved.

The bidders must be effectively established in a member state of the European Union or in an eligible country or territory.

All supplies and materials under this contract shall originate from one or more of those eligible countries.

Ivory Coast tender information

The overall objective of the project is to:

  1. support with setting up collection, processing, management, update and publication procedures for data related to the energy sector and determining wind potential;
  2. support with implementing the 2014 electricity code, defining awareness-raising strategies and activities regarding energy efficiency/renewable energies, drawing up an energy efficiency code for buildings and a non-electric energy code;
  3. support with setting up and activating a network of energy efficiency/renewable energy professionals in order to assist businesses with conducting projects related to energy efficiency and renewable energy production;
  4. strengthening the capacities of the Ministry of Petroleum, Energy and Renewable Energy Development, the National Electricity Sector Regulatory Authority in Côte d’Ivoire and the other administrations involved.
