Guinea Bissau seeks to install prepaid meters

In West Africa, the government of the Republic of Guinea Bissau has received funding from the African Development Bank in various currencies for the service improvement project of electricity in the city of Bissau (PASEB).

It is expected that some of the products of this loan will be applied to the eligible regulations forming part of the contract for the purpose of the acquisition of prepaid meters and electronic post-payment meters.

Prepaid meter tender information

The ministry of energy and industry represented by the project management unit for improving the electricity service in the city of Bissau invites bids by tenderers eligible for the execution of the acquisition prepaid counters and post-payment electronic meters.

Eligible interested tenderers may obtain information and to inspect the tender dossier at the offices of the Management Project of Improvement of the Electricity Service in the city of Bissau, located at Rua Dr Severino Gomes of Pina - Bissau

A complete set of tender documents may be purchased by interested parties upon submission of a written request to the address indicated above and following settlement of a non-refundable fee of 100,000 CFA ($163).

Please note that the provisions in the instructions to tenderers and under the conditions of the contract are the provisions of the tender dossier of the African Development: Procurement of Goods or Works, dated September 2010, updated in July 2012.

Submissions

Tenders must be submitted to the above address no later than 12:00 noon ( local time) on 10 April 2017 and must be accompanied by a guarantee €60,000 ($64,000).
