Ghana: UNDP issues maintenance and repair pre-qualification interest

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Ghana country office is calling for applications for pre-qualification from qualified service providers for the electrical and electronics maintenance service as well repairs.

The pre-qualification will be followed by a request for quotations, invitation to bid and/or request for proposal, which will result in long term agreements with the successful bidders for the works mentioned above for an initial period of one year, renewable up to a maximum of three years.

UNDP tender information

All companies that wish to participate in the process are required to complete the application forms indicating their interest; applications are available at the organisation’s website.

The entire information provided will be used as criteria to access the suitability of the various companies to qualify to receive either request for quotations, request for proposal and/or invitation to bid to participate in the future procurement process for the services mentioned above.

In addition to the requirements in the pre-qualification application form, the interested applicants must provide the following documents:

  • Valid registration certificates in Ghana
  • Valid Ghana revenue authority tax registration certificate
  • Tax clearance certificate for the financial year end 3oth June 2016
  • Audited accounts for at least three years indicating the annual turnover
  • CVs for management and technical staff
  • Official business physical, postal, telephone and email address
  • Proof of insurance of business and workman’s compensation (where applicable)
  • Reference and recommendations from at least three present and three past client

As part of the pre-qualification process, vendors are required to declare that they meet the pre-requisites for eligibility. Please refer to the organisation’s website in that regard.

Vendors are also required to comply with the UN supplier code of conduct, which can also be viewed on the website.

Tender submissions

Application forms must be completed and be indicated in the subject line while submitting the applications online.

Please note that both hard copies and/or soft copies of the applications will be accepted and it is the responsibility of the companies to ensure that the applications are submitted successfully in an organised manner at bids.gh@undp.org for soft copies, hard copies must be deposited in the tender box located at the UNDP reception area after completing and signing a register.
