George Municipality seeks supply of various electrical stocks

In South Africa, the George Municipality invites bidders for the supply and delivery of the following electrical stock:

  • Electrical cables
  • Auxilliary reticulation material
  • LED street lights and post tops
  • Optic fibre, protection and multi-function energy meters
  • Distribution transformers and mini-substations
  • Arial bundle conductor pole boxes and LV distribution kiosks
  • Indoor and outdoor switchgear 11kV
  • Ready boards
  • Logic controllers and accessories
  • Meter replacement

George Municipality tender information:

Tender documents are available at a non-refundable deposit of ZAR185 ($14) each from the Supply Chain Management Unit, First Floor, Civic Centre, York Street, George.

Alternatively, tender documents can be obtained on website www.george.org.za, free of charge.

Applications will be evaluated in terms of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (Act 5 of 2000) Regulations 2011 and the George Municipality’s Supply Chain Management Policy, where 90 points will scored for price and 10 points for B-BBEE status.
