Mali: Félou hydroelectric complex to electrify seven villages

The Manantali Energy Management Company (SOGEM) invites interested bidders to submit their sealed bids for the rural electrification works of seven villages in the Félou hydroelectric complex.

The work will consist of creating an electrical network consisting of low voltage lines and substations and 30kV HV to be connected at various locations to the 30kV Kayes network operated by Energie Du Mali (EDM SA) and powered by the 225/30kV substation of Kayes / Medina.

Interested bidders may review the bidding documents and obtain further information during work days from 8:00am to 16:00pm at the following address:

GEM Marketplace Unit on the 3rd floor.

The criteria for the qualification of the bidders include:

  • To have achieved average annual turnover for work of at least 400 million CFA ($694,000) over the last three years (2014,2015 and 2016)
  • Justify at least three rural electrification jobs of similar size completed in the last five years (2012 to 20 16). The work must include at least 15km of MT line, 5 km of BT line, and 3 H61 MT / BT substations.
  • Liquidity or banking facilities of at least 150,000 CFA ($260)

The complete tender dossier in French may be purchased by interested bidders upon written request to the address below against payment of a non-refundable sum of 50,000 CFA francs ($87).

The payment will be made by direct payment into the bank account no: 02670 3016 628 of the Development Bank of Mali on behalf of the Manantali Energy Management Company – Bank code: ML016 – Code Counter: 01201- RIB: 24.

Tenders must be submitted to the Secretariat of the General Management of SOGEM/ACI 2000 Parcel No. 2501 located on the 3rd floor no later than 10:00am on Thursday 20 July 2017.
