Ethiopian Electric Power requires power transformer

Ethiopian Electric Power invites sealed bids from qualified bidders for the procurement of design, manufacture, supply, transport, erection, installation, test and commissioning of one 73 MVA power transformer.

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures and is open to all bidders.

Power transformer tender details

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bid documents at the address below from 8:00am to 5:00pm from Monday to Friday.

A complete set of bidding documents has been made available from 23 October 2017 against payment receipt of non-refundable fee of ETB 2,000 ($73) from the Ethiopian Electric Power Procurement Office, at head office, by submitting request letter from the bidder.

The method of payment shall be in cash or cashier’s cheque.


Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2:00pm (local time), 7 December 2017. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to $35,000. Electronic bidding will not be permitted.
