The Ethiopian Electric Power company is inviting sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders who can finance for the procurement of plant, design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of:
- Lot-1 132kV Line Bay extension at Beles Sugar Factory substation and new 132/33/1 5kV Pawei Substation and 132/33kV Bullen Substation
- Lot -2 Beles Sugar Factory-Pawei-Bullen 132kV transmission lines
Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures and is open to all bidders.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address below from 8:30am up to 5:00pm from Monday to Friday.
Ethiopian Electric Power tender information
A complete set of bidding documents shall be available from 2 May 2017 against payment receipt of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 2,000 ($87) per lot from the Ethiopian Electric power procurement office at head office, by submitting a request letter from the bidder. The method of payment shall be in cash or a cashier’s cheque.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security for Lot-1 equivalent to $300,000 and for Lot-2 equivalent to $100,000.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 30 June 2017 at 14:00 pm local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted.
Please note: Ethiopian Electric Power will not be responsible for the delay in the receipt of the bidding document dispatches by courier.
No extension in the bid submission date is permissible on account of delay in receipt of bidding document.
