The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) is extending an invite to international eligible bidders to participate for tender Zizenia (3×125 + 4×40) MVA 220/66/11kV, 220kV GIS type and 66,11kV indoor conventional type.
The scope of works includes but not limited to the engineering, design, fabrication, factory tests, (CIF) delivery, inland transportation, loading, unloading, erection, civil work, site tests, commissioning, insurance till taking over, training and technical assistance during the warranty period and the guarantee on turnkey job bases.

Tender documents are available against presentation of a non-refundable $5,000 from National Bank Egypt, Nasr city branch, EETC account no. 11001007177 together with two copies, showing the name, address, email, fax and telephone number of both supplier and local agent and addressed to head of purchasing and stores sector during official working hours.
Bidders must be the manufacturer of the main equipment of GIS switchgear, a consortium or joint venture between the manufacturer of the main equipment and trading company.
The conditions of EETC purchasing and contracting regulations will be considered as integral part of tender documents.

The bids shall be submitted to the address above, according to tender conditions in two separate envelopes (technical and financial), on or before 15 March 2017 at 12:00 noon.
Technical envelope should contain the bidder’s technical offer including all information as specified in the tender document and the tender security with an amount of $300,000.
The financial envelope should only contain the quantity and the price schedules.
