The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) has applied for a loan from the European Development Partners, consisting of EIB, European Union, AFD and KfW for the financing of the autotransformers contract for 10th of Ramadan 500/220/22kV GIS S/S.
EETC invites sealed bids from international bidders for the supply of 2x750MVA, 500/220/22kV three single phase autotransformers plus one spare phase with their accessories, O.L.T.C, AVRs, and 22kV air insulated bus systems to connect the 22kV windings of autotransformer phases in Delta outside the transformer tanks.

The scope of work includes engineering, design, fabrication, factory testing, site delivery, loading, unloading of transformers on foundations, supervision of erection, site testing and commissioning, training, insurance till provisional acceptance, warranty and technical assistance during the warranty period.
The completion period is 17 months (15 months for site delivery starting from the contract signature plus two months for supervision of erection, testing and commissioning).

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application in one original and two copies, accompanied by payment receipt of $2,000 from National Bank of Egypt-Nasr City Branch – Cairo, Egypt. (Account No. 11001007177).
All bids must be submitted in two envelopes clearly marked 10th Ramadan 500/220 kV GIS S/S (Package B), supply of 2×750 MVA 500/220/22 kV Autotransformers and be accompanied by bid security $200,000, and must be delivered by hand to the same address listed above, before the 24 July 2017 at 12:00 noon Cairo local time.
