The government of Burkina Faso has received funding from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in the amount of $12,000.
It proposes to use part of the amount of this credit to make payments under the following contract: acquisition and installation of solar photovoltaic (PV)/diesel hybrid power plants, solar kits.

Please note that the tender for a single lot is subdivided into two parts:
- Component one: Construction of PV/diesel hybrid solar power plants to supply 33kV HTA lines and HTA/BTA distribution networks;
- Component two: Supply and installation of solar PV kits and lights.
The works concern the following areas: Yaho, Grand Bale, Ouenga, Balembar, Soriane, Dablo, Bini, Dake, Kelbo + Faoulaye, Tin-Akoff, Tin-Rhassen (1 + 2), Menzevou, Massifi gui, Bolliel / Gountoure Oursy, Pissalbore, Tangsouka, Zamse, Zecca, Tanlalle and Lantaogo.
The Director General of the Electrification Development Fund (EDF) is inviting candidates to submit their tenders in sealed envelopes for the supply and installation of the above installations.
The invitation to tender will be in accordance with the international tender procedures defined in the Directives: Procurement financed by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) loans.
This invitation to tender is open to all candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria stipulated in the Directives.
Candidates who meet the criteria for participation and who wish to do so may obtain further information from the Electrification Development Fund (EDF) and examine the tender documents at the following address:

A complete set of the French-language tender dossier may be purchased by any interested candidate at the address mentioned above and a non-refundable sum of 250,000 CFA francs ($425).
Payment will be made in cash or by certified bank check in the name of the EDF and in a currency freely convertible into CFA F.
For payments by wire transfer, transactions will be made on the BCEAO account of the EDF no. C002612200 C00060259.
Proof of the transfer order issued by the bank must be faxed to the EDF at +226 25 37 43 11.
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender guarantee of 40,000 CFAF ($80,000).
Tenders must be submitted to the EDF at the above address no later than 18 April 2017 at 09:00 GMT.
