Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality targets to recover revenue on installed prepaid meters

In South Africa, Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality hereby invites suitable professional service providers to submit proposals for the revenue recovery installation of a prepaid meter project in the Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality for the Mopani District in Limpopo Province.

Tender documents are obtainable from Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality (civic centre) during the listed times: 07:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 15:30, Monday to Friday.

Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality bidding conditions

Interested bidders should take note that Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality’s supply chain management policy shall apply in the evaluation and awarding of the tender.

Minimum score for functionality is 60% of the maximum points of 100%. A bidder who scores below this minimum shall not be considered for further evaluation.

Bidders shall take note that there will a compulsory clarification meeting on 9 February 2017 at 10:00am, which will be held at the Municipal Activity Hall.

Functionality for proposal consists of the following:

  • Project implementation (Methodology)-20 points
  • Company/Entity work experience (attach appointment letters) – 30 points
  • Accreditation and registration with relevant professional body (NR5048) -15 points
  • Key personnel experience (attach CV and certified certificates of qualifications)-15 points
