ASECNA to build a solar plant at Mauritania’s airport

In the context of the modernisation of its equipment and in accordance with its policy on the preservation of environment, the Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA) seeks to build a photovoltaic (PV) solar power plant at the International Ourntounsy Airport in Nouakchott Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The call for expressions of interest is the pre-selection of candidates for the implementation of the project.

Candidates will be pre-selected according to the procedures of the regulation of the markets of any nature passed on behalf of ASECNA.

ASECNA tender invitation

ASECNA invites candidates to express their interest individually or in association for the performance of the services described above.

The criteria for the selection of candidates are defined in the technical description of the project and may be withdrawn from the Director of Studies and Projects (DET), ASECNA Airport Léopold Sédar Senghor, BP 8163 Dakar-Yoff, Senegal, from 07:30 to 15:30 GMT, or downloadable on the site www.asecna.aero.


The application file drawn up in French, must be submitted in three copies of which one original and two copies, in addition to the name and address of the candidate, the words “AMI N ° 1721/2017″Pre-selection for the “realization of a photovoltaic solar power station on the Oumtounsy International Airport Nouakchott ” must be inserted and should be deposited, no later than Friday, 03 November 2017 at 10:00 local time (GMT) at the Secretariat of the Director of Studies and Projects.

In the case of sending by mail or any other mode of mail, the costs relating thereto shall be borne by the candidate and ASECNA may not be held responsible for failure to receive the candidate’s file within the time limit.

Candidates shall remain bound by their expression of interest for a minimum period of six months from the date of files.

ASECNA reserves the right to refrain from all or part of this call for expressions of interest.

The purpose of this procedure is to retain a maximum of four candidates for competitive dialogue.
