Upper Egypt Electricity Production Company

In North Africa, the government of Arab Republic of Egypt has secured a loan from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED), which the proceeds will be directed to part finance Upper Egypt Electricity Production Company (UEEPC)’s project.

The loan will finance the procurement of materials and associated services for several packages of assiut supercritical thermal power plant, which will consist of one steam generator and one 650MW steam turbine generator and condensers.

UEEPC now invites sealed tenders from local and international bidders to submit tenders for the civil works package for assiut supercritical thermal power plant.

Upper Egypt Electricity Production Company tender conditions

Local tenderers applying independently or in consortium must be registered as a class “A” contractor in the building works category in the Egyptian Federation of Building and Construction Contractors.

Tender documentation has been made available at UEEPC’s offices from the 8th of May 2016, which can only be obtained by submitting a written application in one original and two copies to the address below:

Tender submission

Tenders are to be submitted on 31st July 2016 at 12:00 noon (Egypt local time). All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of $1,700.000.
