The government of Sierra Leone has received funds from the International Development Association of the World Bank, Multi-Donor Trust Funds (MDTF), European Union (EU), DFID and pool funding from the AfDB toward the cost of Public Financial Management Improvement and Consolidation Project.

It is intended that part of the proceeds will be applied to payments under the contract; supply, installation and configuration of inverter backup system for IFMIS.

The Public Financial Management Improvement and Consolidation Project of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply, installation and configuration of inverter backup system for IFMIS.

Sierra Leone tender information

Bidding will be conducted using the international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRDLoans and IDA Credits (Dated January, 2011,revised 2014) and is open to all Bidders from eligible national bidders as defined in the Guidelines that meet the following minimum qualification criteria:

  • Audited Financial Statements for the past three years with an average annual turnover of $250,000
  • Power of attorney
  • Joint venture agreement (where applicable)
  • Bid security of $20,000
  • Firms must have satisfactorily delivered and installed similar solution for at least three similar contracts

In addition to the above, such documents are required from bidders.

  • A certified true copy of a valid business registration certificate or business license in conformity with the provision of the laws of the country of the bidder.
  • A certified and up to date true copy of a valid tax clearance certificate from the relevant authority in conformity with the provision of the laws of the country of the bidder.

Submissions

Sealed bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 21 June 2017 at 11:00am. The amount of bid security required is $20,000 or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency.
