The government of Mali has received funding from the International Development Association (IDA) and intends to use a portion of the credit to effect lantern distribution incentive payments, Lighting Africa certified solar panels, and corresponding pico-PV materials as part of the SHER project.

To qualify for incentives, select distributors must observe the following process:

  • The AVI will provide the distributor with the sales cards
  • Every three months, the AVI will verify the accuracy of sales by phone call and field visit to final customers and final retailers. On the basis of the results of the verification, it will communicate to AMADER the sums to be paid to the distributor
