The Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) invites sealed tenders from eligible bidders for the fabrication and supply of portable silencers for the Geothermal Development Division.
Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the documents during official working hours by sending an email to email@example.com; cc firstname.lastname@example.org or call the supply chain director.
Tender documents in English may be collected upon payment of a non-refundable fee of KShs.1,000 ($10) paid in cash or through a bankers cheque at any KenGen finance office.
Subsequently, tender documents can also be viewed and downloaded free of charge from the website www.kengen.co.ke and www.suppliers.treasury.go.ke.
KenGen Geothermal Division criteria
- This invitation for is open to all bidders eligible as described in the invitation to tender.
- The procuring entity’s employees, committee members, board members and their relative (spouse and children) are not eligible to participate in the tender.
- Bidders shall provide the qualification information statement (including all members of a joint venture and subcontractors) stating that they are not associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by the Procuring entity to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications, and other documents to be used for the procurement of the goods under this invitation.
- Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices.
Tenders must be submitted on or before: 18 July 2017 at 10:00am in a plain sealed envelope and marked “KGN-GDD-068-2017- TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF PORTABLE SILENCERS FOR GEOTHERMAL DEVELOPMENT DIVISION” and addressed to:
