In East Africa, the Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) intends to purchase transformer and cable accessories, current transformers, terminal connector automatic circuit breaker with cover tools measuring instruments through international competitive bidding.
The utility now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the above mentioned items, which have been divided into four lots and have differing closing dates according to their specifications.
Ethiopian Electric Utility tender contract terms
A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders at the address provided and upon payment of a non-refundable fee. Under lot one will be the transformer protection accessories at a bid security amount of $130,000 and closing date will be Friday 1st July 2016, at 14:00pm. Under lot two; cable accessories cable lugs at a securing bid of $150,000, and closing date is Monday 4th of July 2016, at 14:00pm.
Lot three covers tool measuring instruments at a securing bidding cost of $90,000 and will close on Tuesday 5th July 2016, 14:00pm.
Lastly at lot number four is the provision of current transformers, terminal connector automatic circuit breaker 25A with cover, bidders will be required to secure the supply of the items at a bidding cost of $35, 400, and the closing date will be Wednesday 6th July 2016 also at 14:00pm.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and open to all bidders from eligible suppliers
Bids must be delivered to the address mentioned before the closing dates and times. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security as mentioned above.
