The government of Cameroon has received funding from the Islamic Development Bank covering the costs of the rural electrification project, Phase II.
The government intends to use part of the funds for payments for the construction of medium and low tension power distribution lines and the connection of the beneficiary households.
The agency concerned with its execution presently invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the rural electrification project Phase II.
Tender information for rural electrification project
Bidding will be conducted according to the competitive bidding international procedures for member countries as specified in the Islamic Development Bank Guidelines for the acquisition of goods and works with funding from the Islamic Development Bank (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as specified in the guidelines.
Interested bidders may obtain additional information and study the bid documents at the Rural Electrification Agency during working hours, from 8:00am to 16:00pm.
A complete collection of the bid documents in French can be purchased by interested bidders on presentation of the original copy of the receipt of payment of a non-refundable amount of 300,000 Francs CFA ($540)to the special transfer account, (CAS) N°335988 opened at the International Bank of Cameroon for Savings and Credit (BICEC).
All bid offers prepared in either English or French in 7 copies, 1 original and 6 copies must be delivered at the address below on 9 October 2017 at 2:00pm (local time) and should be titled:
International Call for Tenders intended for companies of member countries of the Islamic Development Bank, IDB N°001/AOIPM/AER/PER II/CSPM/2017 of July 9th, 2017 launched by the Rural Electrification Agency of Cameroon for the selection of companies in view to execute Grid Extension works of the Rural Electrification Project, Phase II.
