I believe that the renewable energy sector can support the need for jobs right now.

South Africa’s renewable energy IPP procurement programme is said to have created approximately 38,000 jobs since 2017, with approximately 4,000 permanent jobs, of which 40% of the people employed are youths.

But does the renewable energy job market hold sufficient opportunities to support the need for jobs to reduce the unemployment rate?
