JinkoSolar’s bifacial module STC power can reach over 320Wp and 380Wp in a 60- and 72-cell module form factor respectively. When applied in an environment with a highest albedo (e.g. white painted background), the effective efficiency can reach as high as 27.3%. When paired with an appropriate tracking system, the power generation capacity can be over 40% that of conventional modules.

The performance of JinkoSolar’s p-type modules is further improved when paired with the Eagle Dual PERC production infrastructure, while increases in the margin price are kept at a competitive level. The firm’s p-type bifacial PERC solar cell can reach a bifaciality of over 80% in lab environments and over 70% when mass produced.

When installed in an optimised PV system and within a highlight reflecting surface environment, the incremental power of bifacial modules can range as high as 30%. When paired with an applicable tracking system, the power generation capacity of bifacial modules can be over 40% compared to conventional modules. Highlights of the bifacial products include:

1) Significant rear side power contribution

2) Low temperature coefficient and outdoor operating temperature - Excellent weak light response

3) Improved module reliability

With an excellent panel power generation performance, bifacial technology opens up a new frontier for PV technology, including reduced levelised cost of electricity. JinkoSolar’s bifacial p-type and n-type series show that cell and module technology upgrades can be achieved at a competitive cost.
