The Republic of Senegal has received a loan from the International Development Association to finance the Power Sector Support Project (PASE).
The national power utility, Senelec, intends to implement part of the funds to make eligible payments for the distribution network automation contract.
The tender has been divided into two lots:
Lot 1: Automation of the national distribution network
Lot 2: Integration of remote control devices at the central conductive office and establishment of a radio telecommunication network
Eligible bidders can obtain information from the Secretariat of Mr Samba DIENG, Director of Distribution Projects, email: firstname.lastname@example.org; email@example.com and take note of the tender documents in the Department of Distribution Projects (Distribution Equipment Department) in Senelec Hann, Maristes Da Kar road, Tel: 221 33 83994 62, on working days from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
Interested bidders may obtain the complete tender dossier in French by making a written request to the address mentioned above against a non-refundable payment of 50,000 CFA Francs or equivalent in a currency.

The award of the contract shall be conducted by International Competitive Bidding as per notification in the ” Guidelines: Procurement of Supplies, Works and Services Contracts (other than Consultants) by World Bank Borrowers”. AID Credits framework “, and open to all bidders from eligible countries as defined in the World Bank Guidelines, January 2011 edition, revised in 2014.
The bid validity period shall be 120 days from the deadline for submission of bids and the bid security must remain valid for at least 28 days after the due date.
Bids must be submitted to the following address: Senelec, Room of the Tenders Board located at 19 Abdou Karim Bourgi Street x Wagane Diouf on the 2nd floor of the Tounkara Building on before 24 July 2019 at 09:30 am local time.
