Prasa is calling on bidders to build 3kV DC traction substation

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) seeks to appoint a contractor to carry our construction works a new 3kV DC traction substation in Braamfontein, Gauteng.

Interested bidders must take not that there will a compulsory briefing session, scheduled as follows:

Date: 10 December 2018
Venue: Umjantshi House, Auditorium, 30 Wolmarans Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg

Special conditions:

There will be a site walk about after the briefing session. Bidders must bring along Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) so that they can get access to site.

It is a mandatory requirement for the prospective suppliers/ bidders to be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) for all the RFXs.

Bidders must submit BBBEE verified Certificates that are accredited by SANAS. A trust, Consortium and Joint Ventures must obtain and submit a consolidated BBBEE.

Bidders should note the following:

Bidders who are registered on the National Treasury defaulters register will be automatically disqualified. It is compulsory to complete the SBD forms in both Volume 1 and 2.

Bidders must arrange for the collection of the drawings at Umjantshi House, 30 Wolmarans Street, Braamfontein in Johannesburg.
