The Electricidade de Moçambique, (EDM) is inviting sealed bids from eligible bidders for the reinforcement of transmission lines in Maputo and Matola, which includes:

  • Installation and upgrading of nine 66kV single and double circuit lines, line conductor upgrades to increase line capacity, the total length of the lines is approximately 166km.
  • Installation of four 66kV XLPE cable routes with a total length of approximately 16km each and a capacity of 120MVA.

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of €250 ($290). The payment shall be transferred to the following accounts.
