The Tamale Teaching Hospital intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation to fund eligible payments under contract for the provision of electrical maintenance items.

Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act 663 of 2003 and Act 914 of 2016 as well as guidelines of the Public Procurement Board of the Republic of Ghana.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information for inspection and purchase of the standard tender documents at the Procurement Unit of the hospital from 8:30am to 17:00pm GMT- Monday to Friday from 8th to 29th May, 2018.

A completed set of standard tender documents, in English may be purchased by interested tenderers upon payment of a non-refundable fee of GHc250.00 ($55) for each set of tender document.


All interested bidders shall submit, together with the tenders, the following documents:

  • Introductory letter
  • Business registration certificate
  • Valid Tax clearance certificate (should be valid as at the time of tender opening – (29th May 2018)
  • Valid SSNIT clearance certificate Valid Labour Certificate (if applicable)
  • VAT registration certificate
  • Pharmacy Council certificate
  • Food and drugs authority certificate (if applicable)
  • Samples evaluation will be done on itemised basis

All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of 2% of the total tender price from a certified insurance company or banker’s draft.

Tenders must be delivered to the address below at or before 10.00am on May 29, 2018.
