Entebbe International Airport requires the Installation of a 11kV power ring

The Ugandan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has allocated funds for the supply, installation and commissioning of an 11kV power ring, phase 2 at Entebbe International Airport.

CAA now invites sealed bids from eligible and competent bidders for the replacement of an underground 11kV cable at Entebbe International Airport.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and are open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX100,000 ($26) payable in cash at CAA cash office, located on the 2nd floor, Entebbe International Airport Terminal Building.

The bid document should be collected immediately after payment from the Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU) located at the CAA Head Office.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site inspection to enable potential bidders to get clarifications and answers on any matter that may be raised on Thursday 20 September 2018 at 10:30 am at CAA Head Office, Entebbe.

Bidders who do not attend the meeting shall be disqualified.


Bids must be delivered to the address stated below on or before Monday, 08 October 2018 at 10:55 am All bids must be accompanied with a bid security of UGX10 million ($ 2,636).
