Eaton has changed the name of its Power Xpert CX switchgear solution to xEnergy Main®. The flexible system is Eaton’s IEC low voltage power assembly up to 7100 A, and focuses on power distribution and motor control.
It is fully scalable and complementary, enabling users to create a fit-for-purpose low voltage system comprising entirely Eaton components for all commercial and industrial applications.
In conjunction with Eaton’s comprehensive MV switchgear range, UPS, busbar trunking, panels and distribution boards, project management, service and support, the xEnergy Main platforms are part of a complete turnkey solution that responds effectively to motor control and power distribution requirements.
With a complete design that is third party certified in accordance with IEC 61439-2, and further designed and tested according to IEC/TR 61641 criteria 1-7, xEnergy Main maximises safety and uptime.
Its modular construction, including a self-supporting steel structure consisting of profiles and sheet-steel side walls and covers, offers maximum flexibility with multiple possibilities for fixed, plug-in, removable or fully withdrawable sections, with accessibility for front and/or rear access.
This makes it easy to upgrade or maintain to optimise business processes, without service interruptions.
The innovative design, combined with Eaton’s expertise in the area of low voltage applications, delivers a platform that is at the heart of any power distribution and motor control application.
