The United Nations Procurement Division/Regional Procurement Office (UNDP/RPO), intends to undertake a solicitation on behalf of United Nations Stabilization Mission in Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO). The solicitation is for upgrading electrical system and connecting MONUSCO sites in Kisangani, Bunia and Uvira to hydroelectrical power grid.
RPO seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced suppliers/service providers that are duly registered and authorised to provide the above mentioned services.
The potential contractor is required to provide MONUSCO with the upgraded electrical system and connect MONUSCO sites in Kisangani, Bunia and Uvira to hydro electrical power grid.
The potential contractor must have all relevant permits and licences to operate in the DRC (MONUSCO will not assist in obtaining work permits or such).
The potential contractor will be requested to present the structure of the company and proof of conducting business for at least the last two years; practicable mobilisation plan that would lead to provision of the required services to MONUSCO no later than 30 days after contract award.
As you express interest in the planned solicitation by submitting the response form, please verify and ensure that your company is registered under its full legal name with the UN Secretariat on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org)
Note that companies that have previously submitted EOI for similar services with UN must re-submit full documentation.
Please note this is not an invitation for submission of bid or proposals. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested to participate in the solicitation when issued.
The tender and any subsequent commitment to contract will be issued in accordance with UN rules and regulations.
