The government of Mali has received a grant from the International Development Association to finance the cost of the Hybrid Rural Electrification System Project, and intends to use part of this credit to make payments for the acquisition of solar lanterns.
The Malian Agency for the Development of Domestic Energy and Rural Electrification is soliciting closed offers from eligible bidders who meet the qualifications required to supply solar lanterns on behalf of AMADER in three lots:
- Lot 1: 800 single solar lanterns;
- Lot 2: 2,800 multifunctional solar lanterns;
- Lot 3: 400 high-end solar lanterns
The procurement will be conducted by National Competitive Bidding as defined in the “Guidelines for Procurement and Contracts Funded by AID Credits”, and open to all nominations of eligible countries as defined in the guidelines.

Interested bidders may obtain a complete tender dossier in French by making a written request to the address provided against a non-refundable payment of 50,000 CFA Francs ($94) or its equivalent value in a freely convertible currency.
The method of payment will be made in cash or by bank check certified in the name of AMADER against issuance of a receipt.
Bids must be submitted to the same address as provided above no later than 29 April 2018 at 10.00am.
