UEDCL seeks the supply of 2,000 pre-payment energy meters

The Uganda Electricity Distribution Limited (UEDCL) has allocated funds for the supply of 2,000 pre-payment energy meters.

The entity now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the above supplies.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.

Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address provided above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX200,000 ($54).

The method of payment will be depositing money on UEDCL bank account. It is upon presentation of a banking slip that the bidder will be availed the bidding documents.

Bids must be delivered to the same address above on or before 16 December 2019 at 11:00am. all bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX4,000.

Bid security must be valid until 30 June 2020.
