Pre-qualification deadline: 18 September 2015, 10:00am-Closed

In North Africa, Morroco’s state-owned Office National de l’Electricité Branche Electricite (ONE-BE) has issued a notice of invitation for the pre-qualification of the engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of three grid-connected solar photovoltaic power plants.

ONE-BE has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) as well as a loan from the Clean Technology Fund to develop the first phase of its solar photovoltaic programme.

According to the invitation notice, ONE-BE intends to take a portion of these funds and use it towards the engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of three grid-connected solar photovoltaic power plants.

The solar PV power plants are located in Zagora, Erfoud and Missour and have a total combined generation capacity of 75MW.

The invitation notice claims that the invitations for the bid are expected to be made in three-months.
